Our opinion on the Los Monteros Beach
North of the golf of Rio Real, at the level of Los Monteros reserve (it is not a natural reserve but a sort of luxury housing estate, same promoter than the golf nearby), there is Los Monteros beach. It is a long strip of fine sand in a quiet and residential environment. In summer, the beach is monitored and it is possible to rent sunbeds. It is to our sense one of the most beautiful beach outside of Marbella, it is ideal if you are looking for calm. However, the sea is a little more agitated than in the city center (spot for surfing and kitesurfing out of season).
To get to this beach coming from Marbella, take the A7 in direction of Malaga. After the golf exit (Torre Real), there is a little inconspicuous exit (Reserva Los Monteros). Take this one then turn right then left Prendre celle-ci puis tournez à droite puis à gauche (dead end sign). Little parking at the end.

Fine sand, monitoring station, calm environment ...a good plan outside Marbella to spend a quiet day !
Attendance is low. The place is only known by the inhabitants of the nearby allotment.
Several access north of the golf of Marbella. Places are few but there are parking on the access roads.
