Our opinion on the Los Monteros Beach - Bahia of Marbella
At the level of the urbanization of Bahia of Marbella (luxury subdivision north of Marbella), there is the beach of Los Monteros. Beach of the same name than that of the south (at about 600 meters away) but with a different environment. Here the beach is more narrow and bordered by dunes. No equipment, only sand out of sight … Very relaxing atmosphere … it changes from the urban beaches of Marbella. However, the sea is a little more agitated in this part of the coast (avoid coming on windy days because the beach is more narrow and the waves can cover a part of the sand). We really liked !
To get to this beach coming from Marbella, take the A7 in direction of Malaga. Take the Altos de Marbella exit. At the roundabout take on the right and enter at Bahia de Marbella. At the roundabout keep going straight in direction of the sea. Little free parking at 20 meters from the beach.

Beach with a preserved environment despite the presence of a subdivision nearby.
The dunes are small but rare on the coast of la Costa del Sol. They allow to isolate.
The beach is narrow but its length allows to find a place without any problem.
Going south (600 meters), there is a restaurant with mattress rental.
The dune space makes it possible to forget the urbanization of Bahia de Marbella.
The urbanization of Bahia de Marbella is pretty well integrated.
