Our opinion on the Lighthouse Beach
The Lighthouse beach of Marbella (Playa del Faro) is attached to the marina (west coast). Well protected from the sea by the two dikes of the port, the se ais here always very calm. However, during summer, the comings and goings of boats may be awkward. We appreciate its animation and its equipment with its restaurant directly on the sand. However, the sunbeds invade the most pleasant space (port side).
The environment is very urban with many buildings in the background. We are in a very touristic and animated area.The pedestrian promenade is very pleasant with many restaurants and tapas bars. We regret the lack of shade. Parking is very difficult in the surroundings.

Attached to the marina of Marbella, this sandy beach has the advantage of being well protected. The left area is the most frequented with a sandy area and a concrete platform.
The beach extends to the right to the beach of Fontanilla.
The closest area to the marina is the most frequented and the most animated. Swimming on a gentle slope in a calm sea.
