Our opinion on the Sant Feliu Beach
In the heart of the historic city, the beach of Sant Feliu is protected by winds and the blows by the port dyke as well as by the pier breakwater to the north and by the Punta de Garbi to the south. There is a sand a little thick and funds including some rocky sections. The south-west part is ideal for families with children. There are playgrounds and an excellent children’s club which organizes all kinds of manula activities : manual, sports, nautical… Moreover, this portion of beach is without tobacco, which is quite rare in Spain. To the northeast, there is a port area for small boats where swimming is prohibited. There are marked areas and lifelines for bathers. In the center, water activities are in the spotlight : sailing and kayaking school, windsurfing, water skiing, boat rental and scuba diving, Yacht Club a little further on the harbor.
We recommend visiting the remains of the old town and the Passeig del Mar, promenade where many shops, open air stalls and various animations.

Semicircular beach well protected from winds and waves, but not from tourist waves and heat.
On the central part, activities mingle : shuttles, swimming, beach volleyball, kids club.
Well protected by the dike to the south, the beach is an excellent base for initiation to water sports. The sailing school knows the crowd.
In addition to learning to sail, the kids club offers many activities.
From here, we can also embark to sail along the coast torwards Tossa del Mar.
The northeastern part is a little wider.
On the horizon,the port is home to passing yachts with demonstartive luxury.
Here is the southwestern part, without tobacco.
Two artificial dikes helps to soak bathing waters. They serve occasionally as diving boards.
In the port area, close to the diving and kayak club, traditional and modern boat coexist.
Along the avenue Christopher Columbus, a first row of pines maintains a summer air throughout the year.
In the background, double row of plane trees welcomes the market, a place where you can walk, have fun, meet peolpe…with parking on the right of the photo (paid, do not forget to take your ticket…).
Before being a famous resort, the city had an important commercial and political influence (we see here the monastery which houses a museum).
