Between Roses and Empuriabrava, we have an almost deserted area with two campings and swamps. It is here that we find the wide beach of La Rubina about 2 kilometers long and divided into three zones.
At the level of the main access (area the closest to the Empuriabrava), the beach is classic with a monitoring station, beach restaurants and accesses arranged. A beach equivalent to that of the city center but with a lower attendance and a totally preserved environment.
On the side of Roses and Santa Margarida, we find the last two zones. The one at the dike and the marina is reserved for dogs (authorized swimming, very rare in Spain) and the one on the right is reserved for the pratice of water sports (windsurf, kitesurfing, …).
We reach this beach by the C-260 in the direction Empuriabrava Roses (it is two-way but you can not cross in the other direction). It is necessary to follow the indications of the camping then those of the beach panels. Free parking.
