Our opinion on the El Dedo Beach
East of Malaga, at the level of Candalo port and in the locality of El Chanquete, there is the beach of El Dedo (also nicknamed beach of El Chanquete) long of almost 600 meters. It is one of the most well equipped beach of the area with a first aid station in summer, access for people with reduced mobility and a channel for water sports. A pedestrian promenade borders the beach with many restaurants (very seasonal) where we can taste grilled sardines. Very family atmosphere but the se ais often agitated in this area (no breakwaters).
To get to this beach take the direction of Candalo port. We are 5km far from the city center.

Pleasant sandy beach well laid out next to Candalo port.
It streches on almost 600 meters in direction of the beach of El Pano.
The beach is very well laid out with an access for people with reduced mobility and games for children.
There are also several restaurants on the seaside next to the beach.
A pleasant pedestrian promenade borders the beach.
