Platja d'en Bossa is the seaside resort of Ibiza Town (3 km from the port) and follows on from the neighbourhood Ses Figueretes. This is the busiest area as a seaside resort on the island of Ibiza with night clubs and hotels. However, the architectural side is best to be forgotten ... you only find shops for tourists, accommodation, bars, nightclubs and the largest beach of the island. Everything is done for a holiday built around the biggest DJs in the world.
The major asset Platja d'en Bossa is its beautiful sandy beach stretching for over 2.5 km. Its “in your face” ambience makes us think of the Pampelonne beach in France ... even if the latter has the advantage of being preserved (no solid construction on the seaside). Here, the waterfront is a line of hotels and resorts ...
A destination recommended for those who love ta lively atmosphere and like to go out. It is also a good base for exploring the southwest of Ibiza (salt marshes, Sant Josep de sa Talaia and Sant Antoni). You can also easily travel to the island of Formentera from the port of Ibiza.
