Our opinion on the Moll Grec Beach
At the level of the village of Sant Marti of Empuries, we find Moll Grec beach (Platja del Moll Grec), one of the most pleasant of the sector. The village of Sant Marti is beautifully restored with pleasant little lanes and a placette by the church with several restaurants. The beach is 10 meters far and has all the facilities of a big beach : monitoring station, several Chiringuintos with mattress rentals, access for people with reduced mobility, …a well equipped beach doubled with a pleasant pedestrian promenade and a bicycle lane. The park nextdoor has many assets and allows to family picnic. Only shade on this paradise landscape, the parking must be paid…
We can join by foot the city center of Escala by a nice appointed promenade (many creeks on the way and by the ruins of Empuries).

It is at the level of the village of Sant Marti of Empuries that we find this nice beach of sand with all necessary facilities.
400 meters of fine sand from the village to the ruins of Empuries.
The beach has several areas with deckchairs. On the right of the picture, we see the pathway.
On the left side, we have a nice view on the village of Sant Marti of Empuries beautifully restorded.
The pedestrian promenade is well appointed. It allows you to join the beaches of Escalat.
Nothing to blame…we are on one of the most beautiful beach of the province of Girona.
A the end, the beach becomes wilder and is bordered by a huge sand dune. Behind, we find another beach.
Next to the beach, a playground for children.
Between the village of Sant Marti of Empuries and the beach, a pleasant shaded park with several picnic tables.
