Our opinion on the Castle Cove
Below the fort of San Ramon of Rodalquilar, along the path, a small sandy creek home mainly nudists under the eyes of tourists coming to see one of the defense forts of this Andalusian coast. In France, naturists rather tend to find isolated areas … In Spain it is far from being the case, especially on this part of the Andalusian coast, where tolerance is of rigor and where several hippie camps have taken up residence. Relaxed atmosphere guaranteed !
The creek is narrow but its environment is sublime with the volcanoes in the background, a translucent sea and ocher cliffs. We understand why many films have been made in the area. On the side, some smooth rocks allow to put down our towel with simple access to the sea. Behind the fort, the cliffs fall steeply in the Mediterranean sea. Nice place.
Access is made by the beach of Playazo by a rugged path on the left (avoid going by car). You need 5 minutes of walk from the parking of the big beach.

It is next to the castle of San Ramon (private) that we find this little fine sandy creek below the cliffs.
Despite the path nearby and so the eyes of the walkers, there are mainly naturists.

This fort of the 18th century discreetly monitors this cove. It is private but has been used to monitor the coast to Malaga.
After the fort, the coast becomes very rugged and the access is no more possible.
Some smooth rocks allows to put down your towel and the access to the sea is quite simple.
