8 kilometers from the port of Roses, Cala de Montjoi marks the beginning of Cape Creus. Totally different atmosphere for this creek with its preserved environment away from the bustle of Roses. Even though the beach has some sort of beachside camping, attendance is reasonnable compared to the beaches of the city center. The beach is very heterogeneous (mixture of gravel, sand and stones). Good spot for diving and going on a kayak ride.
To reach this creek from the port of Roses, the easiest way is to take the road to Montjoi (accessible by Gran Via de Pau Casals on the right, sign indicating the Dolmen of Creu in Cobertella). The parking of the beach is on the right side before the entry of the summer camp.
