Our opinion on the Capellans Beach
Between the big beaches of Savinosa and Llarga in Tarragona, a small sandy beach is found, the cove of Capellans (or Cala of Romana). Environment differs from other beaches of Tarragona. In spite of his weak dimensions, they feel being in an insulated place undoubtedly thanks to the rocky coast and the green vegetation. 60 metres long, it is supervised in summer ... really exceptional! Side parking, they park directly along the road, places are limited but the space on the beach also! Some tables of picnic under pines. To find this beach there from Tarragona, take N340 towards the north. Before arriving at Platja Llarga, there is a panel on the right pointing Cala Romana out, taking this road, the beach is in 200 metres (places of parking along the road, access by staircases).

... but it has a first-aid post, exceptional for a cove of this size!
Boats remind us that we are close to the harbour of Tarragona but nothing very disturbing.
