In the Mediterranean, the Balearic archipelago is composed of 4 main tourist islands.

The island of Ibiza is the liveliest and the most famous destination in the world. Ibiza's beaches are among the most beautiful in the Mediterranean so long as you deviate from the urban centers.

The island of Mallorca is the largest island of the Balearic Islands and the most touristy. It is known as a cheap destination.

The island of Formentera is the least known island of the archipelago. It is located 20 minutes from Ibiza by boat. This is the most untamed destination despite the presence of some large hotel complex and some of the most beautiful beached of the Balearic.

Minorca is located near Mallorca and is the island closest to the French coast. It has little tourism and access to the different beaches is often very difficult. The island is very agricultural.
