Figueretes Beach (Platja Ses Figueretes) is the nearest beach to Ibiza’s city centre and its old town. There are two main coves made up of fine sand. It is possible to rent sun loungers there but the public space is very large. The beach is bordered by a pleasant pedestrian promenade lined by buildings of the 70s (the tourist boom of the island of Ibiza started here ..., the area became popular). In our view, the only advantage of this beach is its proximity to the port of Ibiza ... much better beaches can be found on the island ... a shame to come here ... we prefer d'En Bossa Beach that reminds us of Pampelonne beach on the French Riviera.
To go to this beach from the port of Ibiza, allow 20 minutes on foot (av d'Espanya then Carrer del Pais Basc).
