Sitges Central Beach stretches from the old town to the Terramar Hotel (next to the golf course) over about 2.5 km of sand. Composed of several bays (with different names from East to West: Fragata, ...), they offer identical environments. The beaches are narrow (average of 20 meters wide) and are largely occupied by private beaches (50% of the beach is private, a little less in the far west, it costs 6 € for a sun lounger and 7 € for an umbrella). There are also some snack-bars directly on the sand.
In the first bay (the one closest to the church of Sitges), there is a water sports centre.
The different areas are bordered by a pleasant pedestrian promenade with a few bars / restaurants (there are more on the other side of the road).
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the various beaches (the fines are expensive). Parking is paid (quite difficult to park, use underground car parks).
