Our opinion on the Las Conchas beach
It is north-west of La Graciosa that we find the most beautiful beach of Lanzarote, the beach of Las Conchas (playa de Las Conchas). Between volcanoes, emerald sea, white sand and desert plains, it feels like being at the end of the world. The islet on the opposite side (Montana Clara) reinforces the touch of exoticism. But bathing is extremely dangerous … many people have drowned here … this is why the flag is always red … pity but nature is capricious and wants to keep this sublime place for her.
Even if we can not go bathing, come and lie on its fine sand and contemplate this unique landscape is an exceptional moment.
The beach is far from the port of Caleta del Sebo (arrival by boat). Count 1h20 by foot, 35 minutes by bike.
