Our opinion on the El Golfo Creek
One beach only is accessible at El Golfo. It is the creek located at the parking of the lagoon. Decorated by the fishermen boats of El Golfo, This creek of black sand has a very picturesque setting with a view on the different volcanos of the south-west Lanzarote. Unfortunetly, bathing is not advised in this area because of strong currents … so it is only a place of contemplation and of rest … At the level of the parking, there is a restaurant.
A hundred meters from this creek, take the trail to join the big beach of El Golfo (not accessible). We have a very nice view on the Green Lagoon present on this beach.
