Our opinion on the Punta Beach
The beach of La Punta is located in the center of the city of Roses. It is very fine sand, its shallow and transparent waters are ideal for families. It extends from the port of Roses to the mouth of Riera Grinjolers.
It is in the extension (from any point of view) of the large beaches of Roses : bathing, pedalo, sea scooters, all services…Plus a children’s playground and the shuttle dock to Cadaques and the coast of the natural park of Creus or underwater vision boats.
It also has a little less : the beach is not as much lined with shops, cafes and restaurants, although it does have a drink kiosk.
Located in front west, we better see the sun go down than on the other beaches.

No real walk here, but a family beach…
…where kids are spoiled.
The big ones too because we find boats, sea scooters and pedalo for rent.
At the northwestern end of the beach, at the mouth of the Riera Ginjolers, a miniature Babel tower. Paid parking is on the left.
Gantries and volleyball nets decorate the beach. We can also take our tickets for a mini cruise to Cadaques.
Or glass bottom boat to observe the seabed dry foot.
