Our opinion on the Palma Beach
The main beach of Palma de Mallorca (Playa de Palma) stretches on about 5 km (by counting the part on Can Pastilla and that of El Arenal). It is in a dozen kilometres of the historical centre of Palma de Mallorca. Beach without surprise with a fine sand, an alternation of private and public zones, from many zones watched with accesses for the persons with mobility reduced with for thorough picture the bay of Palma with in the background the mountains of the East Coast. On the contrary, the seafront is completely destroyed by the concrete of many hotels and residences they are in a destination of mass tourism! Many boutiques in seafront for tourists with restaurants where it is possible to savour hamburgers and paellas without gout Beach mainly seen frequently by English and German.

Main beach of Palma, it is in a dozen kilometres of the centre of Palma de Mallorca. Nice length and sand breadth with an alternation of private and public zones.
Eastward, nice view on El Arenal and on the top of (less urbanised Bellavista and more wild zone). Soft descending bathing and surveillance posts.
Very calm beach in the morning but after midday it completely differs! They are in a very tourist zone with many hotels.
Here no problem to rent a deckchair! The Spanish beaches are very well equipped...
Nice view on all bay of Palma with in the background the Sierra of Tramuntana which culminates in more than 1400 metres.
The seaside is very urbanised. It is here that they find most hotels clubs of the Majorca south. They are in a destination of mass tourism...
The pedestrianized promenade along the beach is nice with palms and some kiosks.
Road laid with cobblestones in the main zone but cars are allowed... Hotels can be colossal...
Many trade on the seafront but only seaside boutiques ...
