Our opinion on the Canyerets Beach
Beware, little paradise for swimming ! Once arrived, we do not want to leave. In Canyet de Mar, we have on the left side of the subdivision of Miramar, the cove and the beach of Canyerets. The beach, is large and wide but subject to natural swell less dangerous than impressive. Lovers of bodyboard, air mattress, zodiacs (but fortunately no sea scooters) or the swimmers are here in paradise. The cove and the beach are separated by a single path. The beach has a small pontoon at one end and, at the other, it has an area with rocks. In summer, parking is strictly paying (gantry entry). You can also put the car at 1.5 km then walk. A bar restaurant allows you to eat on site and simply enjoy a show always renewed and always cheering, like its waves.
You reach Cala Canyrets by the road of Sant Feliu de Guixols in Tossa del Mar (10 km), crossing the subdivision of Rosamar.

This creek is part of these beautiful coves that succeed between Sant Feliu and Tossa del Mar (creeks of Vallpresona, del Senyor Raimon, de Salionç, etc.).
In summer, there is a restaurant on the first creek near the access.
The Xiringuito (snack bar) offers a nice view and very good squid donuts.
The second cove is not very wide but it is 110 meters long. A volleyball net is waiting for fans.
But there are many more lovers of swimming because the sea here is the effect of a giant jacuzzi.
The round swell knocks you in all directions in a very funny way.
It sometimes explodes against the rocks. Fun and thrilling, but watch out for the younger ones.
If it is not a surf spot it is probably that the waves are too messy.
We find a little calm by going up on the heights.
The statue of Ava Garder (not very resembling) recalls the family stay that the actress spent here in the 50s with her husband Franck Sinatra.
Famous and smocky since she had an adventure here with the famous bullfighter Mario Cabré.
Maybe in this hotel where they were staying.
If you do not want to pay the entrance of the beach to the reduced number of places, you can park here then walk 1 or 2 kilometers.
